{Carly+Brian} Engaged

I know this took a bit longer than usual, but if you read our previous post you'll know why. We had a great time with Carly and Brian. They both went to the University of Redlands, which is where they are getting married in October. They took us to a few spots around town and we capture them being them. Afterwards they took us to a great pizza place downtown where we had some pizza with mashed potatoes and other fun toppings. Thanks for everything you two and we look forward to the wedding.

Sneak Peek/Update

Our lives have been a bit abstruse and arduous the past weeks. I know I haven't blogged recently and that's not because there was nothing to blog. Rather, things going on haven't left us with time or energy for it.

To sum up a few things, in the past 3 weeks: we found out Jessica was pregnant, had an engagement shoot, had the first wedding of our busy wedding season, did a family shoot for dear friends, found out Jessica was pregnant with twins, endured through a urinary tract infection in Micaiah and a throat infection in Jessica, celebrated and early 3 year anniversary!, were saddened with the loss of one of our dear twins, spent time in San Diego with family celebrated birthdays, all on top of work and processing images as well as a 66 day (and counting) escrow with our house.

Thank you for all your prayers and support in all of this. I know life has few down-time seasons (especially at our age) but this has been a tough one. I didn't want to leave you without an image, so here's a teaser from the engagement shoot of Carly & Brian. We had tons of fun with them and will be shooting their wedding this October. Blessings.

{Krista+Ricky} Engaged

We had such a fun time with Krista and Ricky. Ricky is in the military, based in Arizona, so his trips here to California are few. Luckily the timing of our schedules allowed us to spend the day capturing the engagement time of their relationship. We look forward to shooting their wedding in August. My Father's Day Gift

We'll I'm blogging this a day later than I planned, but that's the way it goes sometimes. I'm going to let the pictures speak for themselves, but I'll give this intro: This is the Father's Day gift my beautiful wife Jessica gave to me.

Sneak Peek...

Yesterday we went to beautiful Crystal Cove to take some engagement photos of Krista and Ricky. They picked the location and we couldn't be happier. As you can see from the photo the sunset was AMAZING, as was the photogenic couple. This is just one of many keepers we will post soon. Enjoy and happy Father's Day to all you dads.

Elijah Rees

Last week Jessica took some photos of little Elijah Rees. He's 3 weeks old and I'm sure he'll follow in his dad's footsteps by playing guitar and fighting fires. Hope you enjoy them.

"Neither rain, nor sleet..."

For weeks we had an extended family shoot planned. The day came last week and wouldn't you know, in the month of JUNE, down came the rain and HAIL! Needless to say we had to make some changes in our plans for the location of the shoot. Luckily we were able to shoot at the wonderful home of the Siegerts, the grandparents of the clan. By the time we got there the rain had subsided and left an overcast yet serene atmosphere. We had a great time with all 13 of this fun family. Hope you all enjoy the photos.
